At Mount St Thomas Preschool, we pride ourselves on providing quality programs, facilitated by our experienced and dedicated educators. We operate extended preschool hours from 8am to 5pm from a convenient location just outside of the Wollongong CBD. Our centre is licensed for 20 children per day with ages ranging from 2 to 5 years old. Our Preschool
Mount St Thomas Preschool was originally established by founders Pam and John in 1997 and has been providing a safe, nurturing environment for children ever since. In 2023 came change with our new Approved Provider Rebecca purchasing the preschool.
Our Educators have a passion for early childhood education and bring with them a wide variety of educational experience.
We aim to implement the Reggio Emilia Approach which encourages more flexibility, open ended and play-based experiences allowing children to use hands-on exploration to discover and explore their interests.

Rebecca - Director, Approved Provider, Nominated Supervisor
- Certificate 3 in Children's Services
- Diploma in Children's Services
- Bachelor of Early Childhood (0-5 years)
Rebecca has worked within the Early Childhood sector for 19 years, including Long Day Care Centre's, a compliance officer for a Family Day Care Scheme while successfully operating her own Family Day Care service. She has a passion for the Early Childhood sector and encouraging child led experiences and contributing to children's learning.

Shari- Educator, Responsible Person
- Certificate 3 in Children’s Services
- Diploma in Children's Services
Shari demonstrates her eagerness to learn new things and is always willing to give everything a go. She has proven her ability to use her initiative with planning fun and exciting experiences. Shari will be working alongside Maddi this year coordinating our school readiness program.

Maddie – Educator, Responsible Person

- Currently completing a Bachelor of Teaching (0-5 years)
Maddie has completed a Certificate 3 and Diploma in Children's Service's. Maddie is currently completing a Bachelor of Teaching (0-5 years) degree.
She is passionate about the early childhood sector and will be working alongside Shari this year coordinating our school readiness program.
